NYE at the Zoo!

On this last day of 2011, I'm realizing just how much I have been blessed this year.  Jude came into our lives, my photography business continued to grow, and I finally made the freeing decision to quit my job at the end of the school year to be home with the boys.  I can't even begin to explain how excited I am to take this next step in my life as a mama to these boys.

We decided to bring in the new year at the zoo.  Sounds crazy, but they have an awesome holiday lights display and laser show.  The lions were even out to say hello to everyone in the cold.  We spent some of our time indoors at the play zoo for an early 8:00 pm countdown for the kids.  Joel painted his face like a bear and Jude was a trooper in the cold.  It was the last "warm" night before the temperatures are supposed to drop so we lived it up!

I am so unbelievably grateful for this family of mine.  I have been blessed to have boys that are funny and adventurous and a husband that is supportive beyond belief.  Bring on 2012!
